At Snappy Swim school we believe that affordable water safety lessons are essential for all. We have found that for people with disabilities, whether physical or intellectual, this is not always possible, be it due to a lack of resources, training or knowledge or a combination of all of these factors.

We are now running carer / child group classes for children ranging from 6 months up to school age. These classes will provide the opportunity for your child to learn water safety skills in a fun, stimulating environment with the security of you or an alternative carer in the water with them. In this way you will be able to enjoy the lesson with your child and we will teach you how to expand what we do in the class to assist your child with water confidence.

Your child will learn valuable safety skills but will also have the opportunity to make friends and you will be able to network with children and parents sharing similar life experiences.

For school age and adults we have after school lessons for learn to swim through to beginner squad level.

All of our teachers are Austswim qualified and have experience in teaching people with special needs, from babies all the way up to adults.
